Genesis pass
The first drop
The genesis pass is the first drop from Ripples. Each pass waives one launch fee, on a collection or on a token launch. The drop is not open yet.

Not open
The pass collection has not been announced, so there is nothing to mint and no fee to waive yet. Until it opens, a launch costs the fee the factory quotes at submission, in USDG.

Hold a pass
The factory reads one ERC-721 collection as its fee pass. Owning a token from that collection is what the waiver checks.

Launch against it
Name the pass token id when you launch a collection or a token. The factory confirms you hold it and skips the fee.

One launch per pass
A pass is marked as spent against the launch it paid for, so passing it on hands over a benefit that has been used.
